Yaar Ivano...

Pretty good make-up, though it does remind us of Kamal's flashback role in EnakkuL Oruvan. Then again, considering the number of roles Kamal has done, any such 'different' role by our young actors will probably remind us of - and be compared against - some role done by Kamal. That's something these actors just have to live with :-)

Yep, that's Barath in "Nethili"

"Enakull Oruvan" is one of my least favorite Kamal films. The film had such a pathetic screenplay. Oh my gosh, Sathyaraj's villainy was soooooooo cliched. Only Kamal's character in the flashback was something different...veryyy bad film!

Anyways, hope "Nethili" does well...Director Durai is yet to recapture the magic of "Mugavari." Come on Sir, you've got to bounce back from "Kadhal Sadugudu" and "Kuppai-Thotti Jaya" (esp. the last 45 mins of that film...only pleasant memory of that film is "uyire ennuyire...")

(yeah yeah, I know the film's name is "Nepali." This 'Nethili' is a reference to Ramesh Khanna's track in "Thenali" in case u didnt know!).

In most of the stills, his makeup didn't stand out...rather looked like excess makeup similar to Suganya in Indian. Hopefully this isn't another crap from Bharath after Pazhani

Mmm.............Bharath plays three roles, all three seem rather similar to other characters.

This one to Kamal's Ennakul Oruvan

Another one to Jeeva of Katrathu Tamil (without the beard)

And the third one, Remo

Bharath's recent aspirations of becoming a "Mass Action Hero" makes me sad :(

One of the few guys who was acting in quality offbeat films exclusively. (Kadhal, Veyyil, Pattiyal, Koodal Nagar)

ink blot, yes it is. was hoping to get atleast a couple of comments wondering who it was. so much for my question :)

ram, EO is a film that has probably aged. i saw it a while back and my memories of it are mostly good. esp. the flashback character and the songs :)

nisha, long time no see :)

megna, yes it is :)

anon, the eyebrows could've been a li'l bit straighter but i still don't think its as bad as Suganya in 'Indian' :)

prin, after reading ur comment, those comparisons do seem right :)

sujay, blame it on perarasu!

why is it in tamil cinema, chinese or nepalese in this case, perceived to have this type of eyebrows? they should really get more creative.

BB,

The only actor (present) whose roles does not remind Kamal is Jeeva. Roles might be the same but makeovers are different.

Well that's inevtiable aint it?
Any role that remotely resembles a country bumpkin with a limp, it's Chappani - village-brawn it's Sakalakala vallavan - if it's a blind man, it's Raaja Paarvai - if it's a mafia-don, it's Nayakan - if it's dance-based it's Salangai Oli - if you see a midget in a Tamil movie, it's Appu - if it is a Brahmin maami , it's Avvai Shanmugi- if a bald head is visible, it's Aalavandhan ... etc etc.

For one, that man has done it all; and as if that's not enough, he will be seen in 10 roles in Dasa.
