1 New Review

Review for Vyaabaari is now online @ bbreviews.

Considering how scarily bad the movie is, I guess it makes sense that the review is available on Friday the 13th!

So Balaji, tell me.. if Vyaabari is 100% torture, why the 1/2 star? Was it a half star less torturous than Veerasaamy?.. Oh man, what a year this is turning out to be already!..

Nice thing that you've ended the 'Tamil' year with a 'cruelly bad' movie's review.Never the less start the year with reviews of 'supposed-to-be-good' movies like 'Unnale Unnale' & 'Mayakannadi'

Sanhya,I think Mozhi,Pokkiri and Pachaikkili Muthuraman were some good Tamil movie release of this year.

A couple of questions Balaji

*Have you seen Guru as of yet, can you review it please? I saw it recently with the Tamil dubbings - Masterclass! Better than most original lyp-syncing. Nasser, Surya, Rohini and Maddy have given voices. 3/3.5 star...i tink it shud be.

*Have you heard of Shankar's new project, 'ROBO' starring Ajith!

Unnale Unnale is pure, unadulterated torture as well. In his eagerness to produce a glossy and cool movie, Jeeva seems to have lost the plot completely. The movie is a series of totally disjoint scenes replete with horrible acting, editing, screenplay, dialogs, background score, song timing and comedy. The second half was so bad that the movie was unintentionally funny. The only redeeming aspect was the cinematography and Jeeva should probably stick to doing that. If this was supposed to be the best movie among the New Year releases, I can't imagine how bad the others must be!!

unnale unnale was excellent movie!
I was entertained. Compared to the other tamil movies of late it was awesome. The cast, music, photography, everything makes up for some of the small flaws in the script.

bb, 1/2 star ena for tamanna-va?! ;-)
sakthi cidambaram-sj suryah is probably the ultimate "vyaabari" combination...pucca commercial...what with malavika and namitha thrown in to the mix...what else can we expect?!

sandya, 'veerasamy' was in a league of its own! and as i said in the review, the first half(with SJS as the businessman) wasn't that bad.

skanda/roge/kumar, looks like they may screen UU here next weekend :) so will write about it next weekend.

srivatsan/ram, tamanna did bring some sanity to the otherwise chaotic. so yeah... i think u could say the 1/2 star was for her :)

ganesh, yes i did start off the year watching 'maayakkannaadi'. but not what i'd call a great start...

prin, nope havent seen 'guru' yet. and haven't heard of 'robo'(wasn't that the name of the movie shankar was supposed to start with kamal?)

I wonder if I saw the same Unnale Unnale that Skanda, Roge and the Sify reviewers saw. To me, the movie was completely flawed and all the characters seemed totally confused that it makes Kadhir's movies seem like classsics. Guess I will wait for BB's review to see if I am the only one who feels that way.
