VV's 2nd Heroine
That's Kamalinee Mukherjee, who has apparently been selected as the 2nd heroine in Kamal's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. She's a Bengali babe who has appeared in Revathi's Phir Milenge and the Telugu hit Anand. Calm, homely look to play off against Jo's cute, chirpy look. Nice...

talking of Phir Milenge, did u watch the film? i lovvvvvvved the film...Shilpa Shetty was dignity in the form of a woman (personified-nu sollalaam, this sounds a lil'l more dramatic!).

Yes, she is so cute. I liked her so much in the telugu movie "Anand". she even won Nandi Award for her acting in this movie. She is good choice.

Nice update on Kamal's VV.Kamal had done enough exploiting Rani Mukherjee in Hey Ram.Now, its Kamalinee Mukherjee-a. Looks like Kamal has to have his choice in heroines from almost every state.

Kamalini was great as Rupa in Anand. Especially for someone who didn't know the language, her work was exceptional. She had a large share in making the film enjoyable.
I hope she doesn't get a raw deal. Very few Kamal films these days have the female characters getting good roles. Of course, in general I stay away from his films, and have only watched Virumandi in the last 4+ years, but I think VV might work due to Gowtham's slick film making style.
