No new reviews today
Since I've been in Texas on a business trip for most of this week, I haven't had the chance to watch any new Tamil movies. In fact, I haven't even completed the review for the 1 movie I did watch, Maayaavi. So bbreviews will not be updated today. Watch out for a big update next week with reviews of Maayaavi, Kannaadi Pookkal and London.

Unfortunately I have not seen 'Mast' and hence will be unable to compare... But based purely on the storyline that I remember 'Mast' having, 'Maayaavi' did not appear to have much in common with it.

i havent seen london yet but here're my star ratings:
mayavi: 2
kannadi pookall: 2.5 or 3 (leaning more towards the former).
moorthy, I watch most movies on vcd and tape. That's the only way I can see them so soon. DVDs are released pretty late and even then, not all movies are released on DVD I think...
Balaji, can you suggest any good sites for online VCD rentals? Like you mentioned DVD takes time. Any reliable VCD cum DVD sites? Right now I use 1800imall.com for DVDs. Its OK.
