Rehearsal?

[Pic Courtesy Prasanna]

I think Surya and Jo have definitely earned a place in the Tamil cinema 'great pairs' hall of fame (the hall would also include Sivaji-Padmini and Kamal-Sridevi). The upcoming Sillunu Oru Kaadhal is going to be just their 6th movie together (after Poovellaam Kettuppaar, Uyirile Kalandhadhu, Kaakka Kaakka, Perazhagan and Maayaavi) but it does seem like they've acted together a lot more!

I don't think they've had a regular marriage scene in any of those movies though. So this pic is probably from Sillunu Oru Kaadhal. Could qualify as a complete dress rehearsal for September 11 :-)

Looks like Sivakumar has changed his mind, and stayed away from the wedding! They both look so stressed :)

I vaguely remember reading that Bhoomika is the love interest for Surya in the movie. So I guess the 'kattaya thirumanam' explains the look. Another KANK?

Balaji with regard to remakes, the one movie that comes to my mind is Suryavamsam. It was made in tamil, telugu, kannada and hindi with the same name(in kannada the name was Suryavamsa).

Both seem quite unhappy in this pic. almost like rebellious kids forced to do stuff! I am hoping it's the characters...

muni-she has discovered hidden beauty. Makeup is awesome isn't it? :)

ram, join the club :)

prakash, definitely a love triangle. hope its sufficiently different from the ones we've seen b4. poruthirundhu paarpom :)

skanda, read somewhere that she herself hasnt decided if she wants to act after marriage or not. but considering how opposed sivakumar was to the wedding, he may say 'no' to her acting even if surya is oK with it!

munimma, rendukkum dhaan :)

rads, ofcourse its the characters... for their real expressions when they r with each other, check out the dinakaran pic i posted in the marriage announcement post...

lovers I half is a movie starring murali and meena - the second half is an edited and dubbed version of the hindi film RHTDM (hindi version of minnale)!. The producer of lovers couldnt finish the movie due to lack of funds!

The only film that had Madhavan & Jothika in it, but didn't proceed very much was "Achcham Thavir." It was actually dropped as neither the producer nor the director felt the project was really going anywhere. It was listed in Maddy's website for a very long time, before it was finally removed.

wat a contrast..in the movie both of them despise the marriage..pannikanumennu pannipaanga!!

Sandya wasn't Dum dum Madhavan and Jothika. The story starts off with them almost getting married.
