Spidey 3 Teaser Trailer

Now that one superhero has hit the screens, its time to start looking forward to the next! The first teaser trailer for Spiderman 3 has been released and not surprisingly, is being screened along with Superman Returns. Just one more reason to go see the flick!

An awesome teaser for sure. Hints at a lot of darkness and inner conflict for Peter/Spidey, right from the new color for Spidey's outfit. Not sure from the teaser who the villains are going to be though. Is that 'sand thing' a Spiderman villain in the comics? The final 'reflection shot' simply blew me away.

While on the topic of teaser trailers, my favorites so far are the ones that were released for Godzilla. The one with the fisherman and the sea and the one where Godzilla's tail swipes the dinosaur skeleton in the museum were real classics. Too bad the movie didn't live upto the hype created by those teasers... Pretty sure that's not gonna happen with Spiderman 3 though!

Hoping to watch Superman Returns and Faana during the weekend!
Out of the tamil movie trailers I've seen, the one for 7G Rainbow colony impressed me a lot. The score was amazing.

As my dad always says "Vellaikkaaran seemaan-yaa!".. Talk about extravagant.. there are no other countries or other language films even remotely close to Hollywood films. They repeatedly set the standard and strive to make things interesting and intriguing for the viewer.

Of course, their movie budgets are so huge that it makes all of this possible. As I read in Rediff.com just now, Mira Nair's Gangster M.D. with Chris Tucker, (based on Munnabhai MBBS), is considered a medium budget film (oh, only around 60 million dollars! :-) Couldn't help but gasp at that!..

Yeah, teaser looks great. But am I the only one who's getting bored with dark superheroes? First time, it was a nice change of pace, but seems like every superhero nowadays is conflicted or flawed. Getting boring ...

And yes, Godzilla teaser was great. The best part was that they didn't show much, so it had an element of mystery.

rajesh, i feel there hasnt been a really good trailer for a tamil film so far. the trailers so far r just song clips and a few dialogs put together. a few like 'kaakka kaakka' have stood out but even they weren't really good. just better...

sandya, yes they do have huge budgets to play around with. but i feel the same clips that r used in the trailer for a tamil movie can be put together to create a much better trailer...

kuttichuvaru, u're welcome :)

prakash, i guess superman's as clean and non-conflicted as they get. i think the conflict part makes them more human and allows sentiments and emotions. otherwise the film would just be filled with special effects :)
