Sivaji Starts!
I owe Karthik one for this pic! The ad apparently came in The Hindu today marking the official start of Sivaji. I'm guessing this was one of the pics taken at the super-secret Mumbai photo-shoot. Thalaivar looks really cool with a slightly different look. A belated birthday gift for the rest of us :-)

Whats with the stylish lettering....you really have to strain your eyes hard to make out wheher its SiVAji or SiPAji.And yes, Thalai looks cool.
Shankar, Increase the expectation on Sivaji, after seeing this still. Thalaivar looks charm and young than Chandramukhi with his own style.
Shankar has his own caring in dressing and make-up. So it adds more beauty to our Thalaivar

Hey, did you see the "Inai thayaarippu" at the bottom of the poster?.. Isn't that the surprise packet? Didn't know SPM had anything to do with this project!..
.. and also, a Shankar first: Antony in the editing department.. it's always been Lenin-V.T.Vijayan (one or both!).. another thing: J.D. & Jerry.. that's probably the first time assistant or associate directors names figure in the poster itself (I've never seen it done before in any of Shankar's film posters!)..

Yes, I was worried about something like that :) This is like the quiet before a storm. I can feel something in the wind. Maybe a hail of seruppus bearing down on Boston, eh?!

sandya, yep that was a surprise. he may be in dire straits financially and this may be rajni's way of helping him out...
ram/gopi, we rajni fans r a very civilized and broadminded lot. so kavalai vendaam! ipdi edhavadhu comments vandhaa we'll just point to the BO collections of 'chandramukhi' and 'mumbai express' :)
SPM was made Associate Produce in the last minute, just 1-2 days before the movie went to the floors. As usual, the reason has not been revealed.
And did you hear the news about Mohanlal being casted in Sivaji in place of Big B after he fell ill?

maverick, yeah i did. and today they're saying its between mohanlal and mohanbabu. too many rumors :)
and so I see the rumour mills have already started working overtime and we're only at the first day of shooting.. It looks like the fun has just begun! :-)
