Robot Rajni?
New photos - unofficial, no doubt - of Rajni in Endhiran. Looks like Shankar has kept his promise to give thalaivar a never-before-seen look. Wonder if this is the look of Rajni in the robot-gone-bad role...

This should be a mash up of all Shankar's Vigilant movies plus SJS' Valee.
The task is cut out for Protagonist Rajni, he has to invent a robot, clean up Political System, Screw a Jaded Aish Rai, protect her 'Karpu' from advances of robot rajni and finally mouth some punch dialogues ... nenachaley kanna kattuthey.

He looks like a character out of the twilight zone. And that hair looks like the back of a skunk. I would rather go far punch dialogues than punch looks :)
toppa thalaya.
I must say he looks like a Vegas shyster lawyer.. Hmmmmm. Macham!

Can't help a bit of a nostalgic lump in the throat ... whatever happended to the compelling actor we saw in Nettrikkan, 6-ilirinthu 60-varai, 16 vayathinilye???
He has gone robotic...
If he does anything out his usual over the top, heroic stuff, it won't be accepted by his "fans".
@ 1st Anon,
Had actually blogged abt the story of Robo sometime back. Had written along the same line. Mentioned Vaali as well. Dunno if you picked it up from there. :)
@ Balaji,
The photo looks bad :(
super comedian
Actually, its easy for you guys to sit and comment. lets see the outcome. i think we should be proud of our indian crew taking much efforts to produce a futuristic muvee as it holds its number one entry to the tamil film industry. we should support our people. ill have to agree that our superstar is not a photogenic but i believe he'll look good on screen
support our indians
-a salute to Director Shankar for at least he writes better stories compared to all those endless village sentiments-
Shankar's films can be summed up to the following elements:
-Vigilante taking on corrupt system
-Wannabe "state-of-the-art" special effects
-Anemic romantic angle that gets in the way of the main plot
-Funny wigs and wardrobe in at least one song
