Malayala MGR?

Pic Courtesy [Sify]

That is popular Malayali comedian Jagathi Sreekumar in Balachandra Menon's new film De Ingotu Nokkiye, releasing this April 14. He plays the Kerala CM in the film, which is supposed to be a love story set against the backdrop of politics. Sify says the film is "a satire and black comedy on Kerala politics" but seeing Jagathi's get-up, I wonder how much of Tamil politics is going to be satired!

This movie is based on the American President, anyway what I read was the CM has a duet with his lover and this was one of the get ups the CM dons in the song and Balachander Menon has removed this from the movie as per his interview in AV recently.

Good! We just had a tiff with Karnataka. The last thing we need is one with Kerala.

KP, from what i read the love story is between the CM's nephew and a girl(played by a new face). highly doubt if its the CM's love story. lets wait and see :)

anon, rightly said :)

Wasn't Karunanidhi sort of parodied in Naadodikkaatu?
