bb, yeah, as srivatsan pointed out, what a drop in the ratings of movies these days! its october and there's not a single 3 1/2 star movie in ur list...though i would award 3 1/2 to mozhi, chennai-28 and paruthi veeran considering how much i loved or admired them... but coming to satham podaathey, i watched the movie and i liked it...of course, my opinions will probably be discounted by the fact that i know vasanth well...but let me tell u what i liked and what i didnt - i loved the sophisticated, gentle romance between prithviraj and padmapriya...sequences like the embroidery class and the library scene made me realize how much i enjoy such polished romances...i actually liked the first half a lot...i thought that padmapriya did a fantastic job of holding together the movie through her scenes with nitin and pritvi... yes, the movie falters a bit in the 2nd half but take away the cinematic insertions and contrivances, there were a few suspenseful sequences that i liked in the 2nd half...overall, i think the movie was pretty good...

The marks seem logical, well so do most things except for the story of these films.
Anyway, despite a step back in Arya for Maddy. 'Evan Oruvan' has got the press going gaga! Is there gonna be a premiere in you place BB?
Looks like the ratings have dropped alarmingly recently. Hopefully *katradhu tamil* will be a 3* atleast
