Kodambakkam's Jared?
Jared Fogle became Subway's mascot when he lost more than 200 lbs by sticking to a Subway-only diet. Now our own Namitha has apparently lost 10kg after a month of eating Veggie Delites at Subway! Having just seen Chanakya, I'm hoping that for the sake of Tamil cinema, she continues the diet :-)
Btw, the Subway employee deserves a prize for actually recognizing Namitha sans makeup, don't you think?!

the one actress who looked considerably prettier after she lost weight was our jo-jo-jo-jothika...and maybe devyani to an extent...but the latter was never too heavy, to begin with...

Well said..and who knows.!! Might be the reason. I hope our Tamil panpadu/kalacharam guys don't go and stone Subway...!! ( A majority won't want her to loose weight I guess !!)
Still she is recognisable, isn't it? Not a big difference with the makeup on her face...

actually, i havent seen kiran after her weight loss...i think u wrote about it when u reviewed an event coverage, right? therile...she was very pretty and elegant in Anbe Sivam...thaz the only movie where I thought she could make it big in Tamil...then came New and it all changed!!

after arjuna arjuna and the recent sibiraj photo shoot, namitha pic has been registered in the minds of Tamil fans.
if she really wanted to become popular, she would have called up the Subway guys and the press b4 visiting Subway. How did the Hindu reporter land there? looks like a pre-planned event.
She looked no different in Sun TV's 'Ungal Choice' when Namitha said that she lost close to 10 kgs.
When I saw her as an aspiring athlete in the promos of 'Englishkaaran', I couldn't control my laughter. Ippa 'Kovai Brothers' la she is a tennis player like Sania Mirza. Saw the promos in Aa.Vi with Namitha dressed up just like Sania with those nose rings and the tight dress. Namma aalungalukku romba lollu yaa. Btw, andha Aa.Vi issue la all those photos of Namitha with Sibi sitting inside a water tank do suggests that she has a long way to go before she can become a mascot for Subway.
ram, yeah. i was quite stunned seeing her at that function. but hasnt really helped her career as far as i can see :)

I think they should recommend this diet to quite a few of them.
Subway is where the celebs hang out in Chennai? Heh..heh. But getting back to Nams acting as a tennis player...Yeah, our filmmakers and "artists" are definitely beyond embarrassment.
