Tweaking Around

As readers can see, I've been tweaking the basic template provided by Blogger to reorganize and move things around on the blog. Ofcourse, behind this all is the intention of making the blog a more pleasurable read(apart from an uncontrollable urge to tweak any HTML I see!). Do feel free to let me know if any of the changes end up having the opposite effect of actually making the blog more difficult to read! I will surely address them right away. Any suggestions on what would make the blog better and even easier to read are welcome too...

balaji,
few things to keep in mind when doing template changes.Always save the sidebar information before you change the format as that data will be lost with diff templates and check the template settings with the important brwosers firefox and explorer as sometimes the settings go haphazard depending on the browser.

hey bj, luv all the reorganizing you have been doing to your blog… good stuff!

though I would like to take you up on “Any suggestions on what would make the blog better and even easier to read are welcome too...”

one thing that has always bothered me is the olive drab color scheme you got going on…

it takes me back to my militia days… lol

is there any particular reason you use it? or do you just like the color?

i think i told u this earlier--> I think you must put up something like "Latest topic on BBTHOTS" on bbreviews...coz I think that'll defn. pique the regular review reader's interest...

senthil, thanx! i've made quite a few changes to the sidebar and would hate to lose 'em. will keep your warning in mind when i do change the template.

vic, nope no particular reason. decided to go with 'light on dark' colors since my other sites have been 'dark on light'. just picked this since the contrast on the other 'light on dark' combos seemed too bright.
your militia days?! just curious... where were those days?!!

ram, thanx for the tip. will see if i can do something like that soon...
