Bachna Ae Haseeno

Bachna Ae Haseeno starts off with the basic story of Autograph as it charts a man's 3 loves but then takes it in a different direction. The resulting film is not as heartfelt or emotional as Autograph but it does have its surprises and charms. Ranbir Kapoor's 3 romances are interesting in their own ways. Minissha Lamba, Bipasha and Deepika are different enough but the situations where they fall for Ranbir are all well-developed with the right mix of comedy, cuteness and romance. Considering Ranbir is a new, young hero who looks perfectly suited to play a soft romantic lead, the way the romances shape up comes as a bit of a surprise. The women take the upper hand in the second half. Minissha 's segment is a bit dull but Bipasha's segment more than makes up for it. She looks the part and projects the haughtiness just perfectly. And since her plight was a lot worse than Minissha's, we actually feel like cheering her on. Her scene with Ranbir at the airport is fantastic and she gets some nice dialogs and a fantastic closing line. Deepika's character starts off strong but isn't given time to grow on us. She looks gorgeous though. The movie takes a few chances with its story and characters for the most part but doesn't take any for the climax. So it feels like a very regular, predictable end to a not-so-regular story.

i felt thAT "bachna ae haseeno" is two movies made into one. It looks a bit disjointed the the two halfes. The first half can be made one whole movie and can end with deepika leaving Ranbir. entire second half was unnecesary and yawn inducing. Climax is nice and sweet though there is nothing about why Deepika changed her mind suddenly. It kinda put brakes into her character which was likeble in the first half.

He's least charismatic would be an understatement. The press would not care about him if he hasn't got into a relationship with the hottest girl in the Town.
Randhir, Shammi, Karishma and Ranbir! Someone should stop these ugly looking Kapoors from Procreating!

Anon, the kapoors are not bad looking like the legendaray Raj kapoor, and ranbir kapoor were handsome and stylish during thier hey days. They were hugely popular and given a name to bollywood. Remember, the kapoors are the first family of bollywood and thier linage is still going strong till today with Ranbir and Kareena. i know people can debate on me with the last statement as both of them have not given much big Hits, but thier charismatic stays on whether you like them or not...

Skanda,
I am not debating about the contribution of Kapoors to Indian cinema which lasted till Rishi. Kareena is surviving in this dog eat dog world by doing all sorts of publicity gimmicks from French kissing her BF to sporting a Bikini yet she has some talent to be here which cannot be denied. Many hardworking and talented youngsters don’t get a chance because their last name doesn’t spell a successful film family. IMO, Shahid Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi or 90s Models like Milind Soman and Arjun Rampal would have made a bigger impact if they were groomed by the right directors or Producers. I am not saying these people are great actors today just that they were not nurtured well. Ranbir has many chances to improve his skills film after film even if he’s not a great find now. Remember it took 17 flops for Abishek Bachan before he could give a Hit. Such learning chances are given only to kids with Powerful contacts Such Family precedence is killing good talent and good cinema.
What has Akshay Khanna, Tushar Kapoor, the deols – Bobby and Isha have achieved in their Career? At best, Ranbir will join this List.

But Ranbir would sure suceed like Abishek and hirithik. Look where Abishek is now after his 17 flops, in a single year itself he gave 4 Hits, with a stunnin performance in "Yuva" and cult classic like "Dhoom" and "sarkar". Ranbir would surely find his niche someday and come out of his illustrious family shadow. After all, are you a carrot reader to predict his fate?

Skanda,
You didn't get my point at all. I can't predict anyone's future but my common sense says He's not going to take the World by Storm.
My point is don't give rigorous exercises to Audiences to see you grow as an Actor. If you think otherwise, you are entitled to your opinion but like i said - It kills Genuine talent.
